👉 These revised slabs apply for FY 2025–26 and continue unchanged into FY 2026–27.

💡 Key Benefits (New Regime)

  • Rebate u/s 87A:
    👉 No tax up to ₹12,00,000 income

  • Standard Deduction: ₹75,000 (salary/pension)

  • Simplified system (no major deductions like 80C, HRA)

🔵 Old Tax Regime (Optional)

👉 Rebate u/s 87A:
  • No tax up to ₹5,00,000 income

👉 Standard Deduction: ₹50,000

👉 Deductions allowed: 80C, 80D, HRA, etc.

➕ Additional Charges

  • Health & Education Cess: 4%

  • Surcharge (if applicable):

    • 10% (₹50L – ₹1Cr)

    • 15% (₹1Cr – ₹2Cr)

    • 25% (₹2Cr – ₹5Cr)

    • 37% (above ₹5Cr – old regime)
